SMBSmart was developed because:
- The SMB space is unique. It needs its own data set to support marketing and sales to SMBs. The other platforms all focus on the enterprise B2B market.
- Other platforms are shockingly poor at identifying the URLs and business categories of SMBs. Since the overall performance of a CRM is driven by the quality of its input information, we see a strong need for vastly improved URL and category discovery.
- A key driver of purchase decisions for SMBs is their take on what their competitors are doing. So we believe a CRM should also present relevant information on the competitors to a given SMB.
- We know that SMBs highly value domain expertise from service providers. So we believe a CRM should also present enough category-specific information that when combined with information specific to a given SMB, gives service providers powerful insights to start and lead conversations.
